On a cool, rainy day my daughter and I accidentally came up with this activity to do to keep her occupied while I made lunch. I got out a small dish of water, some newspaper, and a paintbrush. Before I could get a piece of paper out and some paint she was already painting away.....with the water! She had so much fun "painting" with water that I did not even have to give her the paper and paint.
The "water painting" kept her busy for over 30 minutes! The whole length of time it took me to whip together a quick lunch. She loved it so much that she asks to water paint all the time now!
