Today is St. Patrick's Day! We are doing lots of things to celebrate... wearing green, making special treats, and working on fun craft projects.
This morning we ate a bowl full of Lucky Charms. Yum! Even my ten-month-old loved them. We do not do sugary cereal very often so this was a special treat.
For lunch we had a "pot of gold". We made homemade macaroni and cheese.
My three-year-old daughter made a cute shamrock green construction paper cut-out. She loved using a glue stick to glue down these green construction paper squares that were pre-cut for her.
And we can't forget to wear our green! My son wore his cute shamrock socks (from the dollar bin at Target) and my daughter wore her homemade shamrock hair clip we made together.
Front of the hair clip....
Materials used: two different shades of green felt, hot glue/glue gun, metal hair clip, scissors, shamrock button (found in the dollar bin in a small package).
We hope you have a fun St. Patrick's Day!
